Pets who have lost weight this season
In the fall of 2014 Krissy started a year maternity leave, however, she has decided to stay and we are thrilled. She worked very hard to learn the Binbrook Animal Hospital routine and has been teaching us a lot about pain care in our patients which she has a keen interest in.
Krissy was born in Timmins, Ontario and was then raised in Orillia until she was 7. Before calling Hamilton home, Burlington was a nice place to spend her teenage and early adult years.
After graduating from Northern Colleges Veterinary Technician program in 2008 she worked at a wide variety of veterinary hospitals throughout the Hamilton area. She has a special interest in pain management, lost/stolen pets and would love to give every stray cat a home if she could.
When she is not busy taking care of your pets here in hospital she goes home to her lovely children Savannah, Kayla, and Lucas and hubby Brett. She also calls a little kitty Patches part of the family which she has taken in and shares care of her dog Hope with her Mom and Dad. Not that anyone really has time for much with work and a busy family life but Krissy gets out there on weekends to help find lost pets, hike, roller blade, or sometimes work away at a cross stitch pattern or scrap book.
Meghan is one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians at Binbrook Animal Hospital. She started her career in the veterinary world as a co-op student where she learned the basics of dealing with pets and people, and has been with the Binbrook Animal Hospital team since March 2010. She graduated from Thompson Rivers University Animal Health Technology Distance Education Program in 2016.
Meghan was born on a farm in Mount Hope where she had a slight obsession with the barn kittens. She currently lives in Caledonia with her husband Chad and children, as well as her fur babies Kane and Tazer, both German Short Haired Pointers. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out and running the dogs. Meghan is also currently working to achieve her certificiate in Veterinary Practice Management, as she loves the details of how the clinic runs.
Meghan feels it’s important to be approachable and knowledgeable in this profession and she works hard to learn more and more everyday.
